These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Thavasi. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully — they include important limitations of liability and disclaimers.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using Thavasi (the "Service"), operated by Cooper Compass Technologies Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Thavasi is an email-driven workspace that connects to your Gmail mailbox to help you manage your shipment-related emails and documents entirely within our platform. The Service allows you to read, organise, send, label, and delete emails from within Thavasi — acting as a unified workspace for your shipment communication workflows.

We may add, change, or remove features and set usage limits at any time.

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. The Service is intended for business and professional use.

The Service relies on Google (Gmail). Your use of Google is governed by Google's own terms, and our access to your data is subject to Google's API policies — including the Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data), is owned by Cooper Compass Technologies Private Limited and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service per these Terms. You retain all rights to your own data and mailbox content; you grant us the rights necessary to process that data solely to provide the Service.

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference. Details of how we access, process, and store your mailbox content — including emails you send, labels we apply, and emails you delete through Thavasi — are set out there.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that classifications and extracted details will be accurate. Thavasi is an organisational aid and is not a system of record for customs, legal, or financial compliance — you remain responsible for verifying shipment information against authoritative sources.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Cooper Compass Technologies Private Limited or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cooper Compass Technologies Private Limited and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
